Pediatric Pulmonology division of Dhaka Shishu Hospital, a non-Government hospital for children established in 1972, is under the process of development like other sub-specialties of pediatric medicine. Currently the hospital has 535 in-patient beds including an ICU, emergency care and out-patient department daily attended by sick children. Paediatric Pulmonology unit was established in 1995 and clinical services are delivered through 18 non-paying in-patient beds and a good number of paying and cabin beds along with outpatient respiratory and TB follow-up clinic with utmost sincerity.
